Hip Hop November 3, 2011

Happy Hip Hop everyone!   NOVEMBER already!  Fall is in the air and we're starting my favorite time of year.  I love the warmth of Thanksgivng that flows into the excitement of Christmas!!

Today, I'm playing with a new itty bitty stamp Little Girl Believes.
I love her sweet face.

Color wise, I've been experimenting with color pencil techniques.  I find I strongly prefer a soft pencil.  These are Prismacolor with a few Caran D'ache here and there.  PP is basic grey.  Blue diecut is from Pink Paislee.  Swirly dies are from that Ornate Artisan Spellbinders compatibles set that I've been addicted to the past few hops. :)

Its My Little Shoebox day and how I just LOVE their cute stamps.  I got to play with Little Miss Sunshine  and some gorgeous MLS paper and those TDF 3d flower rollups.

Unity Stamp Company & Spellbinders 2-Day Blog Hop

Welcome to our TWO-day event!

You should be joining me from Christine Emberson’s blog; if not then head to the beginning on the Unity Stamp Co. blog.

With all the blog-swaps that are happening out there lately, I can't think of one more exciting than when the amazing women of SPELLBINDERS get together with the rockstars of UNITY STAMP COMPANY!

We can't wait to show you a special line of coordinating products featuring SPELLBINDERS dies and SAMANTHA WALKER for Unity Stamp Co. rubber stamps!
Not only are we thrilled to be collaborating on such a special 2-day event, but ONE of you will win ALL of the coordinating stamps and dies from the Samantha Walker collection! We will also have 1 winner each day from the comments that will receive 1 Samantha Walker stamp set and coordinating dies.

So be sure to enjoy our hop both days, leave comments on all of the blogs each day and check back to see if you won!

Winners will be posted on Wednesday, October 19th on the Unity Blog and Spellbinders Blog.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the Ornate Artisan Stackers stamps and dies. The images are just stunning, and the sentiments are pretty universally complete - very versatile and covering a large number of occasions. But the beautiful ornate "iron work" like images would be a nightmare to fussy cut.
Enter the gorgeous Spellbinders dies - which makes it very easy to create a super detailed precision cut card.
And I love love love how it turned out (and how easy it was to do!!)

Now please head over to Gloria Stengel's blog.

In case you get lost along the way, please visit the Unity Stamp Company blog for a list of all the blogs in today’s blog hop!

Hip Hop October 6, 2011

Happy Hip Hop everyone!

Today, I'm playing with some stamps from one of my new favorites - the unity cobranded authentique stamps Born An Original:

I always love the classic english country-ness of the blue on white.

Paper is Pink Paislee, a direct stamp to paper off the edge.

Hi and welcome to the Unity Stamp Company and Scor-Pal Blog Hop!

Our teams have come together to show you ALL of the amazing things you can do with Unity Stamp Company stamps and Scor-Pal products!

Along the blog hop you will find cards and projects that are sure to INSPIRE you!
Oh and we have prizes, too, so BE SURE to leave a comment on ALL of the blogs on today’s Blog Hop!
There will be 2 winners!  1 will get a Scor-Pal and 1 will get 10 Unity Itty Bitty stamps of their choice!
Winners will be picked from ALL of the comments so the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to WIN!

The winners will be announced on Thursday, September 15th on the Unity Stamp Company blog and the Scor-Pal blog!

While I love the ease of the Scor-Pal for making beautiful folds without alot of angst, what I love MOST about the Scor-Pal is the way it allows me to "draw" embossed lines - perfectly measured, and very easily. I adore the subtle texture and elegance it adds.  I'm also using gorgeous new stamps from the Unity September Kit of the Month All Seasons

Thank you for stopping by!  Your next stop on the hop is Lisa Andrews.

Hip Hop September 8, 2011

Happy Hip Hop everyone!  I know we're in September, but I really love these images from the August kit of the month, What I Know.  And so I felt compelled to make just one more card with it.  A pretty clean and simple card, inspired by a home decor ad I saw.  The gray and yellow is a current fave combination of mine now a days.
