Happy VINTAGE Hip Hop Thursday everyone! Today, we're in our second week of our co-blog hop with Vintage Street Market and their gorgeous craft lines! They are so beautiful and evoke such a warm nostaligic feel. Be sure to start at Unity's blog and check it all out.
I was lucky enough to get to play with the vintage tinted tape "Linen." I love the subtle striping I was able to create, along with stamps from the August kit of the month, What I Know

Hip Hop August 11, 2011
Welcome to my crafty corner everyone. Happy Hip Hop Thursday!
The 1-2 months following CHA are normally my favorites, because they are usually the times when I get to play with all of the new CHA releases. I love that feeling of newness and anticipation when the packages arrive.
Today, I'm playing with the adorable My Little Shoebox, Little Miss Sunshine - both the paper and the new itty bitty stamp set. (hee hee! Look! its me! watering a plant!!)
This is just a plain color pencil color technique, using a very heavy hand for the opaque vibrant color. I did the skin tones in Copics, though. I can never get a pencil skin that I am satisfied with.
Embossing folder is Sizzix.
Now before I send you on your next blog stop, I wanted to direct you to a fabulous store, I {heart} papers.
She carries a wonderful mix of paper crafting and a very nice selection of unity - a large contingent of which is MORE THAN 1/2 off!! What a great deal!
